The "Protected Paws" Advocacy Against Animal Cruelty Hoodie

April is Animal Cruelty Prevention month, and quite honestly, we can't think of something more fitting. Except for this hoodie, which you'll love.

This hoodie is born out of a mission resulting from what will likely go down in history as one of the most rocking, shocking animal cruelty cases that we will ever see in our time.

The past seven months have undeniably been trying for our rescue, with hundreds of misplaced emails and messages to us with death wishes, threats, and other hurtful contents. Shortly after, came the wave of email apologies, along with those making demands we change our name to avoid any ongoing mixups.

Amidst this, we saw the rescue community band together to support disabled animals, and each other, in a way like no other. We had the opportunity to intake several of the impacted animals, and assist with transport for other supporting rescues alongside us. Through the entirety, we have vowed to keep our focus and energy where it was truly needed the most, on the dogs.

So now what? Fast forward seven months, and It's April (again). We bring you the Advocacy Against Animal Cruelty hoodie,featuring an orange paw, the official color of Animal Cruelty Prevention. Our focus hasn't changed, and our efforts don't stop here.

That's why, 100% of proceeds from the Advocacy Against Animal Cruelty collection will go directly into a brand new SNARL fund, titled "Protected Paws", to be used directly towards disabled animals entering care who have sadly experienced cruelty prior to their entry to care.
